Prensa Comunitaria will hold a discussion that begins with the presentation of the documentary ‘Kawil Ch’oolej: The Q’eqchi’ Resistance in El Estor,’ set in Izabal, Guatemala. Following this audiovisual presentation, the filmmakers and community journalists will come together to explore the dynamics of dispossession in Guatemala as they relate to mining, the State, communities and human rights.
