In the context of a Honduran case study, lawyers and advocates will analyze the impact of strategic litigation in the defense of human rights for vulnerable groups in Honduras and El Salvador. This session will address how judicial channels contribute to the emergence of jurisprudence and the effective protection of the rights of women, factory workers, indigenous peoples and human rights defenders. Similarly, speakers will discuss how the effective and strategic use of law is a tool to fight back against the very structural discrimination and impunity it creates, thus strengthening equality and equity in the region.
