Led by experts from Civic Strength Partners, this session offers a space for learning and dialogue among civil society organization leaders who are actively exploring or navigating strategic transitions. Such transitions could include organizational succession, mergers and partnerships, and protection of assets during responsible closures. The workshop will draw on CSP’s existing facilitation materials and frameworks, with specific attention to local governance considerations and the political context shaping civil society transitions in the region. Participants will leave better equipped to make their own next decision, with a clear sense of the resources available to them for future accompaniment.
This session will be held in Spanish and operate under Chatham House rules to enable a candid and productive discussion. We ask that each organization limit participation to two colleagues.
Registration procedure: This is a closed-door workshop with a limit of 25 attendees. Advanced registration is required. Please indicate your interest in participating by filling out this survey by September 17.
Note: CSP will also offer office hours during CADF 2026 for organizations interested in learning more or discussing transition issues in greater depth. Click the link above to learn more.
