Laura F. Dogu is the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Honduras where she has served since April 2022. A career member of the United States Foreign Service, she has held many diplomatic posts including as U.S. Ambassador to Nicaragua from 2015-18. In her keynote address, she will discuss the complex mix of issues that make up the United States-Honduran relationship, and U.S. commitments to partner with Honduras to address issues of economic opportunity, security, climate change and the root causes of migration.
