Across the globe, the growing impacts of climate change have come to the forefront as a devastating but poorly understood root cause of migration and forced displacement. According to the World Bank, climate change is an increasingly “potent driver of migration” that could potentially force over 200 million people to migrate from their homes by 2050. In this session, speakers will explore strategies, findings and common ground to move forward with intergenerational dialogues of climate justice and advocacy movements for people on the move.
