Conserving and restoring nature using integrated management is key to the development of and increase in climate change resilience in Central America. There is an urgent need to move towards solutions that prioritize natural resources and biodiversity and strategically engage all stakeholders under principles of equity in order to face the social, economic, and environmental challenges and effects of climate change. It is crucial to understand the needs of the territories and civil society’s challenges, as well as their role at a local level, and how they have worked to implement replicable, innovative, inclusive and equitable initiatives.

This session will be livestreamed on Seattle International Foundation’s social media pages.
