This interactive workshop will focus on participatory approaches to gathering information from affected communities on how triggering factors and the lack of protection intersect and amplify the loss and damage caused by climate change. These factors are critical for quantifying loss and damage to develop effective programs.

This workshop is suited for practitioners looking to better understand and apply these concepts, and for donors who fund climate change programming.

Participants will gain tools and resources that will allow them to develop stronger proposals based on community participation and feedback. This workshop is based on the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) Toolkit for Comprehensive Climate Impact Quantification (C-CIQ).
